Is it true women prefer hot guys over cute guys?

people tell me i fit in the "cute" category and never "hot". im korean and 18 yrs old, btw. so is it true women prefer the "hot" model over cute guys? Im asking this cuz I have a sort of baby face (not too babish) but I don't act like a little kid or anything, I try to keep myself poised and mature. help?
