At what age would you be okay with your children going to a protest?

I wouldn't bring them to any protest. When young, it's not their issue it's mine. By the time they are old enough to attend such an event, then they are old enough to go without. If we happen to be going to the same thing, fine. My son has gone to a few protest over the last year or so. I'm still trying to figure out if it's because he feels strongly about the issues, went because friends were going, or just trying to piss me off because of the different view points we have on some issues.
