How well would I do in the South if I am..?

I'm a korean guy and I'm pretty nice guy and relaxed and mild-mannered. How well would I do if i went to the southern states of the u.s? anybody living there currently? (Tennesse, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Carolinas..)
